Does the process applies to children seeking LKG admissions in neighbourhood schools?

Hi,

My son took admission in nursery this year, does the law applies to him as well.Would he be eligible to get the same point criteria for seeking lkg admissions?

Yes it is the guidelines for nursery / LKG admissions.

thanks Latha ji. In that case, I can try to get him admitted in LKG, rather than Nursery in one of the nearby schools. Is there any different process for LKG admissions? Any dates or timelines?

Classes Pre-school = Nursery= L.K.G all are the same term for admissions in Nursery. If your son is in Nursery now then next higher level class will be Pre-Primary=KG= U.K.G. and next higher level class after KG would be Class I.

yes.. to rephrase my question, for Pre-Primary admissions, point criteria would be same? ie 70 points for neighbourhood.

hi sakshi and latha, my daughter is in St.Michael,prasad nagar,new delhi in nursery.Can you please suggest me that i have to change the school in L.K.G and when the admission forms are available for the same for Army school,airforce school,springdales school.Please help me...
