Holding a draw for 8 confirmed seats at DPS Dwarka out of around 2500 applicants was a SHAM after the school manipulated/flouted admission guidelines in its favour. It made no difference between a kid living in Dwarka or from elsewhere in West or North Delhi areas which were covered under its 0-15km criteria. Just 8 seats for first-born or (22 in waitlist) is not even charity. I can understand siblings too have a point but giving most almost 90% of seats to them is utterly unfair to firstborns. Sibling should have been put under a quota - say 20-25% of all seats. Likewise, distance should have been at least 0-8 if not less. I hope someone challenges their whole admission process in the court.
