YES , UR 100% RIGHT AND U HAVE VERY GOOD LOGIC POINT, I AM DELHI BORN , BUT MY KID WILL GET 70 MARKS, THE PERSON WHO HAS COME JUST 1 MONTH BEFORE TO DELHI , HIS CHILD IS GETTING 75 MARKS.

SO OUTSIDERS GETTING ADMISSION AND WE ARE FOOLS. TIME TO TAKE SOME IMMEDIATE STEP GUYS . PLEASE DO SOMETHING. OTHERWISE WE WILL BE IN BIG TROUBLE

EOK is the junior wing of DPS RK Puram. But registration is still open.

Thanks I meant EOK and VV both.. however I just checked that VK doesnt fall within 8kms of EOK. :(

Yes you can apply in both if it falls under 8 km radius.

Thank you. Would you know if the management quota seats have been accomodated in the general category in DPS VV ? There were 50 seats I think?

Irrespective of financial position everyone is equally tied for admission chances. Say it good or bad but it is really scary enough for everyone.

Temple priests should have a good job now days..lot of offering to favourite gods :)

How worried are we that our forms are not mishandled or if we did some mistake while filling it!!

Does this apply to girl child quota also? I mean for girl child atleast all girl applicants in 8 km shd be considered for lottery irrespective of points ..?

Rachna - please see DPS site. They have clearly mentioned that for the girld child ALL girls will be considered within 8 kms.

Draw of lots for 5% reserved quota for Girl Child The applications of all the girl child applicants (from area within 8 KM) will be separated out for draw of lots for 5% reserved seats for Girl Child. On Friday, 7th February 2014, draw of lots will be conducted at the assigned time & place in full public view for selecting 11 girls for DPS Vasant Vihar & 9 girls for DPS East of Kailash under the reserved quota.

The ‘UNDER CONSIDERATION LIST FOR GIRL CHILD’ under 5% reserved quota along with the ‘WAITLISTED GIRL CHILD LIST’ will be put up on Saturday, 8th February 2014. Please note, waitlisted girl child applicants will be considered in the ‘GENERAL POOL LIST FOR DRAW OF LOTS’ if they have the same value points as other applicants in the tie. Otherwise, in case of any vacancy emerging under the girl child quota, the waitlisted girl child applicants will move up in the order of the numerical position in the list.
Please note:

If a waitlisted girl child gets selected in the General Pool draw of lots, her name will be automatically cancelled from the Waitlisted Girl Child List.
If a girl child named “ABC” who is waitlisted at No. 1 in the draw of lots for Girl Child is also waitlisted at No. 50 in the General Pool, she will be considered for admission vis-a-vis a girl child named ”XYZ” waitlisted at No.1 in the General Pool. Please note that the numerical position will move up in the respective separate lists and are not interchangeable."
