DPS, Sushant Lok admission

Hi Sakshi,

We applied in KG (prep ) for DPS,sushant look and our name has been shortlisted.

We are inclined towards DPS, sec -45 (which have asked us to wait till Feb, and will confirm for KG admission in feb if seats are available). So, as of today we dont have a confirm sit in sec 45 branch.

We are confused if we should get the seat blocked in DPS, sushant lok. If we pay the fee for sushant lok and get admission in Feb in 45 branch (which is highly uncertain); then we will loose the 60K fee that we will deposit now.

The school has got mixed feedback. Would it be a good decision to change his school from Blue Bells Model school (his current school) to DPS, Sushant Lok?

Please advice, its a little urgent and we are highly confused.

We felt the school neither excels in academics, nor in extra curicullar ,, He is in LKG; and we have not seen any growth in terms of studies or learning and also they dont put a lot of emphasis on making children perform on stage. the teachers also are not that great. Both the teachers for Nursery and KG speak to parents in Hindi. Not sure, if they put emphasis on chidren to speak in english.

My child has started to speak in Hinglish (Hindi mixed with english). I find the preparatory school very average. Not sure, how the model school will be. But he will be in this branch for another 3 years. So, i am worried about his initial years. Atleast, the school shlould be good in academics.

We want to change the school but dont want to experiment and be pretty sure. That's why we were inclined towards DPS, sec 45 (for which admission is uncertain till Jan-Feb).

Not sure if changing from Blue Bells to DPS, sushant LOK would be a wise decision. We stay in Palam vihar; so distance is also a constarint. And GD Goenaka and Suncity we are finding very expensive.

Also, can you please suggest ; if it would be a good decision to change considering he is blue bells preparatory to the following schools:
1. Millenium
2. DPS, Sushant Lok
3. Manav Rachna
4. Amity (Amwion)
5. Shikshantar
6. DPS , 45 (thats our 1st reference)

Your advice is very valuable to us.
