Sadhu Vaswani School School invited applications for admission to 90 seats in General Category. The list with points was uploaded yesterday. The draw of lots was held today. Here is the general discussion for benefit of everyone. 

1. Children who had scored 35 points or more are to get admission and no draw of lots was held for them. The number of these children are 37. 

2. 171 Children had scored 30 points. The draw of lots was conducted today. All 171 names were in the basket and they were drawn one by one. The sequence in which they were drawn is likely to be the position of these 171 children, though the authorities did not comment on the same stating that they cannot be explicit before 7th March, 2017 when the final list is going to be out.

3. So we have 37 direct selections and 53 with 30 points who would eventually get selected. The long waiting list of the remaining children, also with 30 points is not likely to get exhausted totally. 

4. Draw of lots was conducted to draw sequence of children who scored 25 and 20 points also, but they unfortunately have very less chances of getting admission keeping in view that the waiting list with children having 30 points is too exhaustive. 

I am attaching a file showing tentatively how the list is going to look like on 7th March. I hope it helps the parents. I have tried to be careful with the data, however any inadvertent error may please be excused.
