Dwarka Schools ! Useful info!

Hi Everyone,

While going for the search of what could be not less than an OSCAR (school admission of kid), I've come across the following information for the benefit of all :

1. St Mary's (nursery arm) is in Sec 28, adjacent to one village and is very far from core dwarka geographical limits.

2. Mount Caramel Sec 22 -

---- is looking for admission to kids who are residing in 5 km radius to the school. the lady at the reception told me that the other forms shall not be considered.

---- The general category seats are only 20 ( 10- boys, 10 girls).

---- The age limit for nursery is for the kid born before 30.09.2009.

---- They are also selling forms of Sec 25 branch , which they say is opening this year only.

3. VIS Sec 10

--- The principal still says that the forms that've been sold in Oct/Nov (when media has exposed some malpractices being adopted) shall be considered , however i found most of the parents purchasing new forms to avoid any if's and buts as they fear that there earlier forms shall not be considered for evaluation.

--- Strange that they are selling forms at Rs 400 , however SVIS sec 18 is selling at Rs 25/-

4. ST Gregarious

-- the classes in Dwarka starts from Class-II, Nursery and prep is some where in uttam nagar, 1st is in Janakpuri.

If you have any other information , pls share for the benefit of all. I also saw some of the schools asking for Afidavit (original) for girl child/first born and one of the school asked that it shall be signed by FIRST class Magistrate .

USEFUL INFORMATION, I WANTED TO APPLY AT MT. CARAMEL..BT NOW I DROPPED THE IDEA AFTER READING IT. ALSO, CAN U TELL ME THE POINT SYSTEM OF ST Gregarious..?? HOW THEY R CONSIDERING THE NEIGHBORHOOD CRIETARIA...FRM WHICH PLACE, JANAKPURI OR DWARKA..??

Good Information...

Few things more to be add for other schools

ITL School asking for Child immunization card and medical fitness both attested ....(what is the use if fitness certificate declare all immunization done, and child is fit.. mean they dont turst medical officer and need to see immunization card)

RD Rajpal registration form is funniest of all...

Asking bla bla to attach visting card of father and mother.. qualification proof of parents..

how long you living in place in dwarka..like we had to take loan from them.

Lathaa ji,

There is no point system applicable to RD Rajpal as their website don't show any point criteria neither their prospectus and registration form talk about points for each criteria . Even we had check their Annual day CD which they had give along with the registration form.. (for what purpose i had no clue) and School notice board at the time of buying the registration form.

Basava, We don't have much information about the school as we had not applied for this school..

We had purchased the form @Rs 500.. from RD Rajpal.. is different from the one they had posted on their website..

This list of document is different from the website form. (STRANGE!!)

DIFFERENCES AS BELOW:

1. NO AFFIDAVIT REQUIRED FOR FIRST BORN.

2. No Immunisation card of the child required

3. In our form Highest Qualification of Father and mother required.

4. No points attachment as shown in webiste

it happened last year also with R.D. Rajpal school......when i was trying for my daughter's admission ..when i denied to buy form with prospectus they took my number and said they will inform me when the single form would be available and i got call within 2 hours which was of nominal charges.....But they do call every parent i guess for document verification for formality......dats y dis school cud not make a good repo yet
