I agree sibling issue is not a menance but a necessity. My elder daughter is studying in Birla Vidya Niketan and this year the school hs decided not to take any admissions. Both my daughters are distressed after learning that they cannot go to the same school and we as working couple are stressed that after all the current tamasha is over and if we are lucky enough to get admission for the younger daughter how are we going to manage 2 different schools

 

Rightly said the schools not refunding the fee is a money making tactic especially when the schools dont announce the selected candidates on a common date which could have resolved so many problems for the parents. They can decide which school they want to pursue for the admission policy and the second and third list can be more transparent

But this can happen only when our Ministers forgo their interests and start thinking about the common people who can only vote them to power but cannot teach a lesson if they fail to deliver

 .

As  I come to know that application form fee as fixed by Govt is Rs 25 only. Is there any other fee which schools can charged. I come to know many schools who are charging more not for form but for applying in a school. Most of the forms are free online however when we submit we have to give DD /Cash  for making application of our ward. Is it legal ?

Kindly note the line mention by Heritage school for refund policy

 

"If the parent chooses to withdraw the child within one month from the date of admission the school can retain the registration charges, Admission Fee and the Tuition Fee of one month"

Is this a vaild policy of refund

i also asked about refund policy. can some one tell us the ministry site page or any other authentic proof which will clear my saying? i read it some where that from this session onwards schools are allowed only to retain maximum 200 rupees if any parent would like to withdraw their child's name from that school after paying all charges.

waiting for some authentic proof so in case i have to deposit money somewhere, i will be able to go to consumer court to get my hard earned money back from those monsters

IT IS OK THAT FORMS ARE RELEASE ON 1.1.2011 AND IT IS ALSO OK THAT LAST DATE OF SUBMISSION IS 15.1.2011 BUT THE SCHOOLS ARE NOT OBEYING DATE OF PUBLICATION OF 1ST LIST. I HAVE NOTICED THE FOLLOWING

 MOUNT CARMEL RELEASING AND CLOSING FIRST LIST ADMISSION MUCH EARLIER THEN 1.2.2011.

 WHEREAS SARDAR PATEL WILL RELEASE  1ST LIST ON 17.3.2011. WHAT WILL HAPPENED IF A PERSON WAITING FOR SPV'S LIST AND FINALLY NOT SELECT.

MOUNT CARMET TAKING AROUND RS 60000/- ON ADMISSION, BEFORE RELEASE OF ANY SCHOOL'S LIST.

GREEN FIELD NURSERY  SCHOOL/ SADHU VASWANI/TAGORE INT VASAT VIHAR  HAVE A COLUMN IN APPLICATION IN WHAT WAY YOU CAN HELP THE SCHOOL PROVIDING COMPUTER, TRANSPORTS ETC.ETC.  WHAT IT MEANS ?

 

SANSKRITI SCHOOL RESERVING 50% SEAT ON PARENTS PROFILE.

 I HOPE SUMIT JI  WILL  RAISE OUR VOICE THRO ADMISSIONNURSERY.COM BECAUSE DOE LISTEN ONLY IF U CAN POINT OUT THIS BEFORE THEM.

Mr Vohra you are asking for a list of schools that are violating the guidelines. I ask you WHICH SCHOOL IS NOT VIOLATING THE GUIDELINES?????

VV DAV, Vikas Puri is forcing parents to buy their prospectus. And is not giving the application form without the prospectus (Rs. 25 + Rs. 125).

 

Can we do something?

Dear Mr. Vohra,

Hope Hall Foundation, Sector-7, R.K.Puram is charging 150 for Prospectus+form. When i asked for Form only, they simply denied and said prospectus is compulsory otherwise we can not give form!!

sir,

 

every schooling is profiling. I have applied in the school of St. Andrews Scot school, patparganj, transyamuna, Delhi. They give given me date for interview on 22.1.2011. Vivekanand Public School, D-Block, Anand Vihar, Delhi has date of result 20.1.2011 and asked attested documents of qualification and income, ST. Lawrence Convent School,Geeta Colony,Delhi have said to come for interview and the prospectus cost of Rs.200/-. Every school is asking documents of parents qualification, income of parents.

Dear Mr. Vohra,

 

Most of the schools are giving points on sibling and alumni. If we have a single child and we are not from Delhi then we are not eligible for these points. This is not acceptable.

 

Indraprastha World School's form is asking for parent's qualification and xerox copy of the certificate to support it which is against what government ruling.

 

Please raise these 2 points as and try to do something about it.

MR LOVELY,

 

YOU HAD PROMISED IN CASE OF ANY PROBLEMS FACED BY THE PARENT COMMUNITY THEY CAN ASK FOR YOUR HELP.

 

WE STRICTLY WANT ONE POINT SYSTEM TO BE APPLICABLE TO ALL SCHOOLS AND THEY CAN TAKE CARE OF THEIR MANAGMENT QUOTA OF 20% TO RAISE THIER FUNDS.

 

WE WANT A CLEAR GUIDELINE FROM THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION AS REGARDS SCHOOLS POINTS CRITERIA FOR ADMISSIONS OF GENERAL CATEGORY.

 

AN EARLY AND POSITIVE ACTION IN THIS REGARD WOULD BE HIGHLY APPRECIATED. WE WOULD ALL FORGET THE WORRIES OF THE SCHOOLS CHARGING HIGH PROSPECTUS FESS IF YOU REALLY HELP US ON UNIFORM SYSTEM OF POINT SYSTEM FOR ALL SCHOOLS.
