i strongly believe there is no criteria for any school, if you are professionally strong (doctor, IAS, IPS, IFS, marine engineer) you will get your child admitted to bal bharti, dps or any other such school otherwise you should have money as money can buy anything and it also apply for nursary admissions too. spend money and your child will be accepted in 90% of schools you applied at. if you dont have money then Mr lovely has answer for you too, he will suggest that govt has opened mcd and govt schools in all areas and you can admit your ward there. ministers wont do any strong measures against these private schools as these schools owners fund their election campaigns too and these ministers will have answer for parents like you too (admit your child to govt schools if you cant afford quality education)

don't rely on any minister as they are just meant to speak on news channels to raise fake hopes among parents, private schools lobby is too strong + most of the schools are owned by either big shot industrialists or business houses and even ministers themselves too so don't expect much can be done because parents ARE NOT UNITED.

all parents combinely refuse these admission processes and don't admit their childs to any schools, end of the day all school classes will be vacant and their owners will be starving for money and they will admit all without donations and increased fee structures too. but we parents dont have courage and determinaiton to do anything hard like this so better keep shut and follow the others and spend money, become abiding parents like others.

i agree with mr mukandi.what he is saying is 100% true.
Bang on!!! If we parents don't wake up now and become united in refusing admission processes, then this thing will keep on happening till the end of time and our country India will always remain SAARE JAHAAN SE ACHAA !!!

modern school vasant vihar has general category and rte act category which is confusing

springdales school dhaula kuan  is giving 10 points to government employee kids

sriram vasant vihar giving extra points 10  to kids between 3 1/2 -4 years . This is discriminatory

tagoreinternation vasant vihar profiling parents on education and profession(although mantaining that ist for database purpose)

This is India Mr Vohra and believe me no action will be taken against any of these schools and even if any action will be imposed, it will just be too small to take note of.

why education ministry is going to cancel their CBSE affiliation so that next time any school will thing 100 times before violating any guideline issued by govt ?

these schools give a damn to govt sugestions because they know that firstly no one will complain, second, even if anybody complains, no action will be taken and thirdly, even if any action will be taken, it will only be in the books and will not be implemented in real, it will be just to keep shut mouths of those parents who protested, rest all remains and will run as the schools want it to be below the desk.

I agree with Mukandi 100%.  We have already fought with authorities and at last bought the forms at whatever price they are giving... NO ONE INTERVENED... I couldnt see any comments from Mr. Lovely or the Govt....

IF THE GOVERNMENT IS STILL LISTENING TO THE PARENTS PLEA... I REQUEST THEM TO PLEASE MAKE STRICT RULE FOR THE REIMBURSEMENTS AFTER THE 15TH FOR ADMISSIONS..... HOPE SOMEBODY LISTENS TO US..

Mr. Vohra please communicate very clearly to the government our points above and if possible pls. pressurize them to take SOME ACTIONS IMMEDIATELY...

All schools are charging diff. rates for prospectus and forms... till date nothing has been done... what is the fun in making rules.........

avinash, we agree with you but try to things in totality .... what abt the parents with single child how will they manage.

I have filled in arround 20 schools and no where I scored more than 30-40. If my first child is not admitted to school then its useless to think for second child.

I don't want to comment more as i'm very upset abt whole nonuser stuff.. I have left it to almighty and will only speak now after 15th.

We don't have any expectation from government and its fellow agencies.

Ju hoga we will see ...

Hi,

Today (05/01/2011)- I called Maxfort -pitampura branch to confirm the availability of the admission forms for the session 2011-2012. The Lady who picked the phone told me that i have to buy the prospectus for Rs- 300/-. .if i need the registration form.It is MANDATORY.

When i try to remind her about the DoE guidelines she told me that this is school tools.

It seems that these schools have no fear and creating mess for the parents.

Regards,

Neha

Hello Mr. Vohra,

As regards single boy child or single child the points awarded should be the same as Points of awarded for siblings, as a single child he/she cannot have any siblings and he/she should not suffer on that ground.

In many schools Points awarded to Siblings range from 20-30 points, while a single child is given hardly 5-6 points.

Thanks a lot for all you have don Mr. Vohra. Keep the good work going.

St. Marks Janak Puri already closed Admission in October. What action would you take against such schools who are totally ignoring the guidelines.

The criterias are all vague and does not support common people. If they need to be set based on Parent's Income, Education or their association with some NGO or State level social organization, then certainly the schools are trying to create the divide amongst the Parents community. Then its not a fair system. Moreover if there are certain common criterias like Sibling, Neighbourhood etc...then atleast the points against each criteria should be same in all the schools. There are schools for which sibling grabs 35 points and for some 15.......Then atleast Goverment should restrict the max. weightage given to each mandatory criteria.

Is there any clear cut guidelines to be followed by schools for accepting documents as address proof. All schools prospectus are stating different proofs of address in their forms.
