Email to Heritage School Vasant Kunj on Transfer Cases.

Dear Respected Principal,

The Heritage School, Vasant Kunj,

I have applied for the nursery admission of my child and have been following the Heritage website for communications on admission process. I(and so many others) have been living this nearby area for last many years but still falling under 70 points total. We are very much worried about getting admission for my kid hence this is bring to your notice some of my observations.

Point 1. When I look at the sheet published for the candidates with the scored points, I see a case where the Permanent address is showing as Raja Garden where as the school is located in vasant kunj. If the address of the candidate is showing as Raja Garden then how is it possible to have the locality points of 70 points.

Secondly, if the permanent address of the family is Raja Garden than how come the candidate is claiming to have the transfer points of 5 points:

Although you would already be doing the verification but I feel myself responsible to inform you. There may be other cases as well in the list which may require more scrutiny.

Point 2. The other point I want to bring up is the point #2 in the information section. Although I will some how manage to be there on the venue, what about the parents who have to go to different schools on the same day. An authorized representative can only a family member as no one else will take the extra efforts to go on my behalf.

I would request you to relax these rules and the list of selected candidates must be published on the website, even if no one is available carrying the slip.

Thanks for getting the below things to our notice. A pointwise reply is given below to the same.

Though the parent’s permanent address is Raja Garden, their current address is of Vasant Vihar which is in 8 kms radius of school.

Secondly, if the permanent address of the family is Raja Garden than how come the candidate is claiming to have the transfer points of 5 points:

May be the parent’s are on a transferable job and he got his transfer during the given period. However, his / her details will be verified in case he/she gets a chance for admission.

It is not made mandatory for the parents/ representative to be present for the draw of lots. We have made the necessary changes.

Just got an email from The Heritage School - informing that the draw of lots is at 9am tomm morning & that it's mandatory for either parents or an authorized representative to be present for the draw!!
