Enjoy these few days of lull before the storm comes again on 24th of march!!!

There is very low activity noticed by me on the AN.COM regarding comments and posting of info/discussions (my inbox is not flooded with mails :p). Maybe this is due to the festive season in between, but mainly because other than minority schools and the ones who are neglecting HC order, maximum schools who were to conduct total redraw before 24th have amicably postponed their draws.
now parents and schools alike are waiting for the hearing due in high court on 24th. as there is no point in discussing any issue till then, and no new info to be posted, parents like me are busy handling the other pending works! (this season is the longest Nursery admission season in history due to all those scrapping, new guidelines, PILs, redraws, total redraws....and parents had to take more than required leaves for attending these draws and redraws)
meanwhile, schools are busy sending the data regarding, number of applications-splitting them point-wise, earlier draw results, fake Transfer cases, schools' ability to handle Disabled, etc.to DoE as asked by the court. as the deadline to send the data is today, the Doe will most possibly analyze the whole data and has been asked to formulate a new scheme which can be considered in next hearing.
while we parents enjoy this lull, and schools will also be free for the next six days, now it is the DoE's turn to get busy and brainstorm and formulate such scheme to be able to give equal chance to every child!
i hope this time the DoE lives upto the expectations and passes with flying colors!!!

Also lot of parents disturbed and angry and nothing can be done before 24th Mar !!

I reside in mayur vihar and filled the forms in 22 schools. Yet i have not ecure any seat in any draw for my girl child ( not even in waiting list). What will happen to those parents whose child name will not come in any of the draw? We are feeling so helpless and too much tensed to cencentrate on our work.

I am a teacher myself giving education to so many students but my child's future is hanging in the middle due to these court order's and other processes. So many other parents are going through the same tension.

Pls. give us some relief on 24th march. and pls. tell what will happen to those whose name will not come in any draw even after filling forms in so many schools.

I would suggest - Please have a Plan B and a Plan C ready. I am doing the same even though my ward had made through one school.

Please remember that whatever the point system, there will be a few who wont get through anywhere. To be prepared for this worst sceanrio, it is better to start planning other options as well.
