Neelam had posted yesterday that now helpline is giving solution as she was facing issues in EWS/DG form.

See her post on common thread after her problem was resolved.

These days I am worried about the same thing that I picked a school that I do not like.

Becasue that school is in step 2 (0-1 km) , that's why that school automatically priority set on Number 1,

If i selected in lucky draw, So there is too much chances to be selected in that school.

whereas I do not like that school, I had to choose that school because of the problem in the DOE website software. :-(

if you have any solution.....

Exactly the same i fear the most,.. but then i Pray ke muje first priority wala school mil jaye itna lucky na karna.....

Yes I submitted the form same day itself.

Do you have any idea how many days they will give us to take admission like result will be out on 7th March.. As my Husband will be out of Delhi for 2 3days from 8th March..

Hi Ritu,

I was a last year parent and we got in DG category.

In 2017 last year the official date of 1st list of selected students was 7th March but the 1st list came out on 21st March.

When i called the assigned school on 21st March they said they have not received the names of the selected candidates. On 22 March the school got the names and we did admission formalities in next 2-3 days.

DOE gives around 15 days to the parents to complete the admission formalities, In fact last year DOE extended the date to complete the admission formalities.

Do not worry even if you get the results on 7th March as per the date you will get atleast 15 days time to complete the formalities.

Dear Sakshi

I have download the list of locality from the website of DOE for those area which comes under Neighbourhood criteria as as per distance, i realise that many of the localities are not reachable to those schools which are very nearest just say within 1 km to the applicants.

I feel, this locality list prepare for schools to help them to avoid such areas admission into their schools.

for example Pahar Ganj residents cannot choose Bal Bharti Public School, Pusa Road, for their priority admission list.

By chance if parents give first priority for this school and submit the form, but Pahar Ganj area applicant will not be selected in automatic lucky draw by DOE because of "Locality list" which prepared in such a way.

I request you please take this matter with Education Department and Education Minister
