Hi all
If u think women r unsafe in Delhi u would never imagine how unfortunate it can be for males.
If u have a male child and that too a second one its impossible to get admission in a school which is right across the road he loses 10 points for not being the girl child again he loses 10 points for not being the first born child. Even worse if the elder child is in girl school then there is no option left .and if elder sibling is in co -ed then also its not easy then distance comes in between .they will consider only those who reside between 0 -3 kms and if u r not the alumini of any school then u have the only option to pack ur bags and go back to ur hometown or u have to be ready to cough up 2 to 5 lakhs or even 18 lakhs for this nursery admission.
So where is so called Right to Education #Mrs Smriti Irani # Mr.. Narender Modi # Mr. Arvind Kejriwal

I have a boy child. First born.my husband studied in a special school and I in a govt school.so the alumni, girl child and sibling points we missed on.even if I live next door to a school my child does not get enough points to get admission.(we are in Sainik farm an none of the school gives us the max points for distance) leaving Delhi and shifting to gurgaon. Don't want him to waste one year.few of the schools are ready to take him even when he is less than 3.5
Good idea for these kids can be if I give a bond that I am not going to have a second child he gets equal points as siblings. The population in india is already high.y not give people incentive for producing lesser kids.

What do you feel about this case story :-

Alumni - Yes

First Child - Yes

Girl Child - Yes

Distance - 2 Kms from school.

Parents - Engineers

And i am sure 99.99% of the entire people on this website will feel it is one of the easiest case... and now the IRONY... My child didn't even qualify for the Draw of Lots and i am not talking about schools like Sanskruti, SPV, not modern and not even DPS and not at all a convent.

Where to Go ... can # everyone but for no results...

anuj ji, u cant do any thing other then having patiece. Just have patience, i know its difficult. But you will definitely get the positive result

Hi I can truly understand in what situation u r in. After having so many points in favor then also not getting through in even single school that's too disheartening. I can only suggest u go to the desired school again and again and give application on regular basis. And that's true in some cases its tough for girl child too .we wish every child get admitted in good school irrespective of their being girl or a boy . all the best
