GENERAL NORMS:

1. Only girls are eligible for admission to K.G.

2. Children born between 01/04/2005 and 31/03/2006 only are eligible for admission to K.G.

3. There will be no test or interviews of the applicants or their parents. Weightage will be given according to the following:
The weightage is without prejudice to the School’s Constitutional right to give preference to children from Christian Community.
Neighbourhood
a. up to 5 km 15 pts
b. more than 5 up to 8 km 10 pts
c. more than 8 up to 10 km 5 pts

Siblings 10 pts
Children of Alumni 5 pts
Economically weaker Section 10 pts
Children of staff 10 pts

4. The school reserves the right to reject application forms with incomplete or false information.

5. Schedule of dates for admission will be as follows: Distribution of Application forms 15 December 2009 to 23 December 2009 between 8.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. (all working days) Filled in application form alongwith photocopies of relevant documents will be accepted at the School office (all working days) between 9.00 a.m. and 12.30 p.m. till January 15, 2010. No form will be accepted after January 15, 2010.

6. Make sure to submit the following documents along with the application form:

An attested photocopy of the Birth Certificate from Municipal Corporation, and an attested photocopy of the Baptism Certificate in case of Christian candidates.
All Christian candidates must bring a letter from their respective Parish Priests/Pastors testifying to the membership of their parish. They must produce the Baptism Certificate.
Proof of residence: A photocopy of Elector’s ID card / Driving License / Ration card / Passport / Electricity Bill / Telephone bill – MTNL landline.
Recently executed rent deed will not be considered as proof of residence.

7. The list of selected candidates will be displayed on the notice board on February 1, 2010 at 11.00 a.m. the second list will be displayed on the notice board on Feb 28, 2010, if only needed.

Lease it has to reserve 70% of the available seats for children of
Defence personnel and Cantonment Residents
(b) This school has minority status, so for the remaining 30% seats available,
Christians will be accommodated.
2 Photocopies of supporting documents to be submitted along with the Registration Form. Original documents will have to be produced for verification purposes at the time of dates given for verification

General Norms :
1.Both boys and girls are eligible for admission to Prep.
2.Children born between 1st April, 2005 and 31st March 2006 will be eligible for admission to class Prep for the session 2010-2011.
3.Our school is situated on the defence land and according to the lease agreement , 70% seats are reserved for the children of the Defence Personnel & children of the civilians residing in the cantonment area.
4.After considering the defence quota, this being a minority status school, Christians and Catholics of our Zone will be given preference.(View List)

◦Seats reserved for children of the defence
personnel and residents of the cantonment : 95
(85 seats at the time of admissionand 10 reserved for defence personnel who come on transfer later).

5.Registration Forms will be given according to the following schedule :
◦15th December: (9a.m. to 12 noon) Defence Personnel
◦16th December: (9a.m. to 12 noon) Cantonment Residents
◦17th December: (9a.m. to 12 noon) Catholic & Christian Boys of the zone to be covered by Mount St. Mary's (Please carry the Parish Priest Letter)
◦18th December: (8a.m. to 9 a.m.) Siblings & Alumni (Please carry your elder child’s Report card for Sibling Category Proof and Class 12 Certificate for Alumni Category Proof).
◦18th December: (10 a.m. to 12 noon) General Category
Please note: Parents are advised to follow the above schedule. Forms may be submitted to the school office according to the following schedule between 9 a.m. and 12 noon:

◦4th January Defence Personnel
◦5th January: Cantonment Residents
◦6th January: Catholic & Christian Boys of the zone to be covered by M.S.M.
◦7th January: Siblings & Alumni.

6.Photocopies of supporting documents have to be submitted along with the Registration Form. Original documents will have to be produced for verification purposes at the time & date of given for verification:
◦One passport size photograph of the child for all categories.
◦Copy of Date of Birth Certificate of the child from Municipal Corporation (for all categories).
◦Copy of the Baptism Certificate and a letter from the Parish Priest in case of Christian and Catholic candidates.
◦Residential Proof : Voter’s I-Card and its photocopy of both parents.
◦Occupational Proof of both parents – letter from your employer.
In case of defence service, a letter from the office where you are serving, with
a mention of the designation of the competent authority signing the letter.
◦Sibling Proof: Report Cards of the elder sibling studying in our school.
◦Alumni - Class 12 Certificate issued by school and proof of being a member of the Marian Association.



7.Parents will be intimated of dates to come with original documents and get their documents verified.
8.The list of 125 selected candidates along with wait list (if any) will be put up on the notice board on 30th January, 2010.
10 seats will be kept reserved for the Defence Personnel coming on transfer later.
