List of short listed candidates in DPS Mathura Road

thanx for the link
short list of DPS vasant kunj is very clear. they select up to point 35. although my kids name not appeared but they are transparent . they displayed all names with point.
in other hand DPS mathura road, which chosen online application and submission and offline submission of filled form, has not transparent neither they displayed all applicants name and point earned nor the criteria of cut off .
I have to agree that there is something very underhanded about the whole admission process conducted by DPS Mathura Road. Although they opted for online submission, forms had to be printed out and submitted to the school and no receipt was given, nor was there anyone to verify that all the correct photocopies has been attached. The parents have no way of knowing if their form reached the right hands, if it was rejected because it was incomplete or anything. It may very well be that my form was rejected because it did not contain my husband's signature since he was travelling at the time, a fact I was able to explain at all the other schools where the forms were deposited. But here I have no way of know if that was a problem.
The point is that since it is such a large and old school, they think they can get away with anything and sadly they are right, there is no one who is able to rein in these schools. This whole process really brings out the powerlessness of our govt which is truly pathetic to see.
I feel since the admissions are for thecoming session the student would not have actually gone to the concerned school at all. The non refund of the admission fee is not rational. The school could at best retain the registration charges and probably another 1000 or 2000 rupees. In any case the schools have resorted to hefty admission fees and have also clubbed many heads of account under the head of tuition fee, which in some cases has come to include as varied a charge as computer and activity charges. The poor parent is already a harrassed bundle of nerves till he gets admission of his child and in any case the schools have ganged up against the government as well as the parents
