Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2026-27

Form Dates | Admission Criteria | Results | Fee Details | List of All Schools

Hi sakshi,

We are seeking admission in Prep for my child for the next session and have qualified the interview round that they had scheduled this week for us.

My child is currently in LKG standard in Blue Bells preperatory school, and we were trying in DPS, Sec 45 (or sec 47 as you say for junior wing) since we were dis satisfied with Blue Bells for the past 2 years.

We had heard extremely good feedback for DPS, sec 45. However, since we have to submit the fees in another 2 days, just wanted to get your feedback too about the school.

Also, would it be a wise decision to change from his current school blue bells prep school to DPS, sec 45 (sec47 for now as he will go in the junior wing).

Please guide us  with this urgently as we have to make the decision on an immediate basis.

we had also applied to DPS, sushant look and qualified. However, we were more inclined towards DPS, sec 45 since we have heard better feedback about it.

A qiuck response is much appreciated.

Thanks

Charu

i can tell you the difference after knowing the reasons for dissatisfaction from blue bells.

Hi Sakshi,

Thank you for the prompt reply.

We found blue bells is avery mediocre school basis the below criterias:

1. the school hardly lays emphasis on stage performances. For activities in nursery(like show and tell; story telling, etc)...teacher told me they ask only children who are willing to perform.

2.Teachers in both the years Nur and LKG were average. They hardly interact in english. Even on PTM's they prefer to speak to parents in hindi.

3. Academic: They cover content in the syllabus, without taking into account if children are matching the pace. I have to pay a lot of attention at home to ensure he is with the class pace

4. Extra Curicullar: We already knew the school is not great at that and had low expectations. the school doesn't provide a lot of options. For all teachers in sports, music, computers, etc. if you speak to them you will understand they are not keen.

Overall, we found the school to be extremely average. I thinkl they emphasise on handful of students are top performers in the class. We stay in palm vihar and were reluctant to send our child very far. Blue Bells at that point in time (2 years back) was the only school which had good reviews.

For our child, we want a glood blend of academics with overall personality developement and blue bells as per us has not met either of it,

We are inclined towards DPS, sec 45  as it excells in academics, although we have heard extra - curicullar ( like swimming, horse riding ) is missing; but have got positive feedback from parents about academics and class activities.

It would  be great if you could help us in the decision making process.

Thanks

Charu

Yes Charu

it is very good in academics but we found this year the trend changing and they could not fill seats and called even parents who were not selected seeing their profile

If you are looking for only academics then go for it .

Thank you, Sakhi for the insight.

this is indeed very valuable and you are all a big support.

Anytime :)
