I just want to have clarity over the girl child norm..(Since I am a mother of a boy child and unfortunately first child..)

As per the above norm it says "Besides these, the applicants who have sibling studying in the same school will get 20 points and five points will be added by default in the application of girls and wards of school alumni"

These 5 points being given for girl child.. Now for example, if ABC person is an alumni of a school and he has a girl child applicant too, will he be eligible for 10 points?

Secondly, why is that a girl child being given preference?

Is it parents' fault, if they have first boy child..

N secondly within 8 km, a girl applicant will get by 75 points default.. Is there any reservation too? pls clarify

My mother even after having three daughters made sure that her girls should go to best educational institutions.. n nowadays parents are bothered about both boy and girl education.. 

Sibling is being given 20 points.. why not first child?

Crux is boy child is going to suffer in every case..
