No luck today with Shikshantar draw of lot for our child. :((

Dear Sakshi and Mr Vohra,

Today we have been selected in DOL of salwan sec 15. I have already secured a seat in shalom hills. Please suggest me with which we should go further? Salwan comes under top 10 schools in gurgaon acc. to Ht suvey and distance wise also it’s less far from my home as compared to shalom. But I am more inclined towards shalom due to positive feedback of the school and I really liked teachers and principle of the school. We have to submit salwan fees by wednesday, so please give ur valuable suggestion.

This was their second draw and i got the call only for this one. They told me few days back that they are calling parents acc. to points which are based on neighborhood, sibling etc. Please ensure from the school if they r also planning to third draw.

I have talked some parents over there and I also got mixed feedback. I m considering salwan as it's more nearby otherwise I am happy with shalom. Plz let me know what type of negative feedback u know abt salwan so that i can decide more open mindly. And share if you have any negative point regarding shalom

Yah same with me :) I am also more inclined towards shalom. Any parents whose ward is studing in salwan please help me out as don't want to take wrong decision being biased

My bits of qs

1) Amity sector 43: how much of 42200 admission fees is refundable?

2) Feedback about the Amity Sector 43 school w.r.t Academics, sports, facilities, attention to child. I have gone through the web majorly searching information on the school, but I need parents feedback.

3) Amity 43 v/s Amity 46 (Amiown)? Any parent's ward in Amity 46 can give feedback?

4) Some opinions said Suncity is overhyped? How?

5) What is the admission process in Shriram Aravali? Do they have draw of lots?

Our son get through Shikshatnar yesterday ........... I am really happy as I was very keen for that ..................................

yes, nursery school admission is really painfull in NCR but you are doing great job and helping us in taking right decision ....

I also like appericate Shikshantar for their fair and transparent admission process......I believe you all agree with me .............

Hi Prerna,

Congrats! My son also got through Shikshantar and we have completed all admissions formalities as well.  While initially we were not too clear about Shikshantar, after having met the Founders and other staff and parents I am totally convinced and very happy about my choice. We got very positive vibes during the counseling session and were totally in sync with what was discussed. And yes, I agree with you, Shikshantar was completely transparent and democratic about their admission process. 

For Sumit/Sakshi/ Members of AN: Thank you so much for your support, advice, and timely updates. Believe me, it made the painful process a bit easier to bear!
