I don't understand this at all.
Who will be responsible if anything goes wrong? are the authorities ready to give in writing if anything goes wrong they will be responsible? if not, they must drop such stupid ideas, start focusing on opening offices, Hospitals, Malls and then think about opening schools.

I agree with all parents here. Opening schools would surely lead to a new surge of infections of Covid-19 in the community. Asymptomatic children could be institutional amplifiers in spreading the virus unknowingly. Delay in opening schools would give more time for infections in communities to fall. Even if one child gets infected the whole class should be under quarantine. If more cases are found schools should be shut. I doubt if every school can follow the social distancing norms effectively and if schools are equipped for the sudden restructuring of its infrastructure and have enough resources for the same.
South Korea has closed its school after briefly opening the schools due to spike in its Covid cases despite stringent measures taken by them. It is better we move into online schooling for the protection of our children, staff, and our community until the outbreak comes under control.
