Help on School Selection - Moving from London to Delhi/Gurgaon
Dear Moderators and Members,
I am sincerely looking for your advice on school selection. We have two girls age 6 and 3 and we currently reside in London. However we will be relocating to Delhi/Gurgaon by December. Although we are in a dilemma as to where to live i.e. Gurgaon or South Delhi given my office will be in Gurgaon we want to guide this decision also based on which schools we select. My personal preference is to live in Vasant Vihar (VV) however this is where we need help. Which are the good international schools in VV? Also I have read a lot about Pathways School in Gurgaon, how far is Pathways from VV, our preference is to reduce the commuting time of our daughters as much as possible. Apologies for such a long post but hopefully it will give you a good idea of our dilemma. Thank you very much in Advance

Our founder Mr Vohra is staying is vasant vihar and as per him in different discussions it 15--20km (approx ) from vasant vihar.( you can see exact distance on google maps and there are 2 pathways in gurgaon now)

if you have some pull vasant valley and shriram are the best schools in country and both near by vasant vihar

from VV, Pathways will be at a manageable distance. dps interntional in saket is there.then british school is there in chanakayapuri. of all these Pathways will be the easiest to get through.

I think Pathways in Gurgaon will best suit your needs. If you are keen to put your kid in 21st century schools Indus World School in Gurgaon will do.

Indus World School is woefully short on Infrastructure in their senior Campus and location is also a problem given that there are many underconstruction building around.

But it is proposed to build Indus World University and may be development process take some time. But the teaching methodology is very unique one.

Dear Dinesh,
The campus at Galleria is our primary wing and Sohna road campus is our middle school .Moreover, our senior campus would be coming on golf course extension road sector 64 by 2014 and that would be a 2 acre campus. We have recently moved to Sohna Road campus and as per Tulip and Unitech builders the construction around the school will be over by December 2012.

and these are all IB schools/international schools.
In Gurgaon , you have pathways again, scottish high school gurgaon and Goenka World School at Sohna as good international schools,of which pathways/goenka are more desirable.
