High Court Verdict On Age Criteria on 9 Jan 2011

Delhi high court today heard the social jurist PIL in length as the argument was continues from last Friday. Today Mr. Ashok Agarwal continued the argument specially the impact of RTE on Delhi school education act and tried to convince the court that the defense by govt. about the section 11 and section 12 of RTE act is not new for Delhi. Mr. agarwal requested the court to frame guideline by using judicial power as govt. failed to do so. The detailed argument about ganguly committee recommendation and DOE admission order 2007 was also discussed. The argument was very impressive and having all the legal punches including various judgement from supreme court and Delhi High court. The argument will continue on Wednesday as the DOE counsel got her turn only for five minutes today. The court is taking time as some interpretation of RTE Act 2009 is involve and it will impact nationally. we request parents not to worry as we believe the verdict will come on Wednesday and even last date of submission of form is also not out of the jurisdiction of court.

Yes surely.... Guidelines about the admissions will come after 16th January when all the parents have filled in forms after taking much pains or it can even be extended till 31st of march when the admission process is complete...
