How do I get the Municipal attestation for DPS Gurgaon?

I have the birth certificate of my daughter from MCD Delhi.. But that is not enough for DPS.. They want the photocopies of these to be attested by MCD ... How do I do that? How much time does it take?

Go to MCD and apply for copies Rs. 20 is charged per copy and it will take a week normally or if you stress your need you may get in 2 or 3 days time.

but i dony want copies.. i just want attestation.. does that also take a weeks time?

Attestation takes no time go to MCD and get attestation from gazette officers there.

There are many offfices area wise but you need to go from where it was issued . No other office will attest it.

I think you have misunderstood. I checked the DPS form which mentions "attested Municipal Birth Certificate". So it is just that you should get attestation for the photocopies from any gazetted officer. So get attested by any of the below class A or B officers.

Class 2 or B Officers with some supervisory/managerial role.

eg. Section Officer, BDO, Tahsildar, Junior doctors, Assistant Executive Engineer, Lecturers in Government colleges, Headmaster of Government high schools, Junior Doctors in Government hospitals, 2nd Lieutenant to Major, etc

Class 1 or A: Executive power vested officers,with decision making powers.

All India services, though posted to states; promotees from states to the cadre of Assistant Commissioner and above and to the cadre of All India services ; Police officers of Circle Inspector and above; Additional District Civil surgeons, Executive Engineers and above, District Medical Officer and above, Lt.Col. and above, Principals of Government colleges and above, Readers and above of Universities, etc.

Nationalised bank officials are not gazetted officers but protocol ranks exist.
