Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2024-25

Admission Dates | Admission Criteria | Compare schools | Fee Details

Hi pals,

I know I am asking question at a stage where I dont need to since my daughter is just 10 months right now, but since I have seen all the parents like you all who know the entire detail about the admission process before hand and are aware of which school to choose for their wards. Needless to say that this is the result of hours of research and grapevine efforts you have build up all these years. Hats off!

I would like to seek some help from you since I am also starting to research in this field. My daughter was born on 15 April 2014 and I see that the guidelines say that the child shud be 3 yrs as of 31st March. So that means by 31st March 2017 by daughter shud be 3 years to secure admission in nursery, but precisely she would be 2 year 11 months and 15 days. Does that mean a wastage of a year for her just because of a meager gap of 15 days? since we will have to wait to secure admission in 2018 session to satisfy the eligibility criteria, but by that time she would be 15 days short of 4 years, an age suitable for UKG. Is that so? is there any process to escape this kind of thing so that I can save her one year of education???

I am a resident of Dwarka and am looking out for schools which emphasize on personality development along with studies and due to the point system, I am really scared since that means I cant foray out of dwarka whereas I wanted to target Vasant Valley, Mother's International and types. I am a TAFS passout and a west delhi resident but havent seen so much difficulty in those times....

Please guide....

Sorry for the long post
