The Indian school did not inform us also and it was nowhere written or published that parents have to be present at the time of draw.

Dear Folks, who are quoting here that Indian School draw was fair and blah blah ... can you please tell how did you qualify for the Draw itself? That will tell you real story. How did you scored that many points and was that correct?

You must have scored 80-90 points (Neighborhood + Sibling+ Transfer). Can you please share how come both be true (Sibling+ Transfer) i.e. if you got transferred in last year then how come sibling was already there in that school?

@Gopal: The draw didn't include anyone with sibling + transfer points coz they would have qualified for the confirmed list (80-90 points). I think the names in the draw of lots were people with neighbourhood as well as transfer points (70 points including first child points).

This may not be entirely true. I have seen schools doing draw-of-lots or giving admissions in first-come-first-basis for everyone over a cut-off points.
