initial fees payment- gurgaon schools

Hello
Would like to know fellow members experience.
Scottish high gurgon is asking to pay admission fees+ security deposit + annual fees + first quarter fees all together at the time of admission for session 2016.

Is it a common practice ?

Does anyone know how much is refundable ?

Yes and its school specific

No regulatory body to make uniform guidelines
