Well, Charu, so now your are also fighting against the neighbourhood criteria already set by govt.  For all we know, now there will be one more set of parents ( like charu) who are staying right opposite school gate with their first child and will file a petition against 8 km neighbourhood.....phew!!!!

Hey parents, CHILL! plz do not start fighting with one another once again.

first i want to say that plz go on discussing (in a healthy way without questioning somebody's education or calling somebody super educated!), but for the next session and let this session run as it is!!

i am a mother of a first boy child, still i would want my second child to go to the same school for many practical reasons stated by other parents. sibling criteria is totally justified!!!

But there should be certainly a cap on alumni as siblings are the only existing students, while alumni is a very large pool of students of all the previous years...if even 10% of them stay near their previous school and applies to the same school, even then whole of the general seats would be consumed!! if my parents were not that rich to have given me education in those prestigious schools at that time, then even my child also don't have a right to go to those schools???

Dear All

My 2 cents

1 If court does removes alumni and sibling points, Do you think other parents having these points will keep quiet ?

2 Now when all lists have come even court will not listen to new PIL as they tagged it yesterday with 24th Mar hearing .Had they wanted they could have taken action yesterday only.

Pls see the thread below in which you will see Mr Vohra fought against alumni points  and  wanted First child points but before start of the previous sessions  and got it decimated from (40- 25) points to 5 points .

YES I AGREE THIS YEAR EVEN THIS 5 POINTS ARE ALSO MAKING THE DIFFERENCE.

LETS STOP THIS AS ITS TOO LATE AND JUST FOLLOW THE GUIDELINES, AS LITIGATIONS WILL NOT END TILL NEXT YEAR IF NOT STOPPED RIGHT NOW.

GUD MORNING TO ALL MY FRIENDS WHO HAVE FILED PIL YESTERDAY. 

The session already got delayed by 1 month and you ppl are still fighting . Where were you when guidelines were issued? 

Are you sure that you will get child admitted in best school if draws are held again?

I would like to make it clear that schools are taking advantage of these confusions and court process .

The hue and cry will always exist as everyone wants his or her kid admitted in best school.

For sake of only parents comfort zone sibbling points system is added up , this is not justice , others parents child also get chance in good schools .

and if you telling about almni points , madam whole system of policies and functioning of school is changed with in 5 yrs and this is very illogical ,others parents of schools can not get the values of schools as they are not studied from that school .

Admission of atleast nursery child should be transparents for all parents .
