Is eliminating alum/sib righ solution or open seats shd increase ?

I don't think that this problem will erode away by decreasing alumni/ sibling .... I am surprise to see this and my friends to my experience even alumni's also have to struggle in getting admission since competition so high and seats so low .... I think distance was really the best criteria ..... Sibling category given advantage bcoz of viability and security of children .... How can anybody hate sibling category bcoz it's getting points...it is the kid getting advantage and not the parents and soon u may be the part of that community or may not be but both children in same school wil protect them for their security and it is in larger issue .... Pls see even otherwise for a girl child how safe it is... It is not discriminating any child rather it is yr future advantage which u r trying to delete .... My friends let's stop those who r politicizing and fooling us for themselves ... Don't let yrself be misused... My request

my suggestion not to speculate anything now as Court will take a data based approach. its not an easy question where finish one and get another and finish another to get one. its is true that over a period of time the sibling system will get redundant but for this year people might get the benefit of doubt but for sure siblings need to be capped if not eliminated.

If you see the data alumni's also struggling in top schools ...my viewpoint is that the seats increase Wld set the problem and setting aside alumni who r themselves struggling in top schools ... This nuisance is created by few who thinks that creating hurdles will set their problems... I am not against cutting alumni or sibling points but rather a mentality who thinks creating problems in this session they are becoming heroes.... However they are misguiding all.... They shd have awaken when guidelines were declared since they did not get any seat they are after snatching those who got ... Total interest is how to stop the process ... Pls join hands in stopping them and let Government take it's own course and hon'ble High Court

Agree, Sibling point is justified from my understanding. As per observation, I think judges have much to do about deciding on the earlier stays related to draws and they will not do much about sibling/alumni cases. Hope 28th is the final day for this years nursery mess.
