Is rent agreement is not an address proof ?
Hi,
Is rent agreement is not an address proof ? If a person is residing in delhi on rent .What will the the address proof for his child while taking admission in good schoosl in vasant kunj . Some recognized school based in vasant kunj like gd goenka ,ryan etc.. they are not considering rent agreement as an address proof.

Dear Rachna, some idiots do not consider it as a proof. In North Delhi Montfort and Jaspal Kaur simply do not entertain you in such matter. Jaspal Kaur people bluntly said, "pl look for other school".
In some they want the Rent Agreement to be more than 6 months old. Modern School. Shalimar Bagh had such issues but I persuaded them and they agreed,

However you can go for updation of Aadhar Card address (that is online). Take print out. Attach it
Get Electricity bill of landlord. May be you might have gas connection in your name and you may get that also
Does help you to convince them if you have some bits and pieces that may not be exactly what they want, but certainly does help to convince
