School specific ,some schools follows Points System/Lottery, But many take written/oral test of child and interview of parents.

KG on wards admissions depends on vacancy and no fixed criteria as its school specific as mentioned above.
See Dec 2017- Feb 2018 admission notifications for last year to see different criteria followed by different schools in KG-12 Group.
