Nursery admission Update : Today on 21st of Decmeber 2011 a division bench of Delhi High court issued notice to the DOE and action comitee of Unaided Schools and fixed the case for final argument on 6th of januray 2011. Delhi High court passed a detailed order while issuing the notice while permited the school to go throught the DOE circuler dated 16.12.2011 but whether the pre school can be considered as entry level class or not will be subject to the final outcome of the case which will be decided on 6th of Januray 2011. we can state that the issue whether the students admitted in pre school will be upgraded to pre school or they will be admitted as a fresh admission will be decided on 6th of january itself. we suggest parents to purchase the form after 6th of january as it is most likely that the students of the age group of 3+ will not be promoted in next class and court will decide the matter on 6th as the friday is fixed for the matter for final argument instead of wednosday. the corut strongly refused for a long adjornment which the govenrment counsel was seeking.

Sir..my son whose b'date is 5.7.08 and hence would be 3 years and 8 months next year march. he is going to a preparatory school right now.Would he be eligible for admissions next year.

yes he will be eligible but whether he will be automatically promoted that will be decided by HC on 6th of january 2012

CAN MR ASHOK AGGARWAL OR MR KHAGESH TELL ME IF 3+ ADMITTED 4 YEARS BACK ARE LESS INTELLIGENT TODAY

sir i can only reply that neither mr agarwal nor myself has fixed this 4 years age but the ganguly comitee and yashpal comitee had decided the same and the same had been approved by the cabinet in the year 2007. sir in addition i want to add the public schools approched the supreme court who also denied any interfrance. sir you will appreciate the fact that ganuly comitee had discussed world wide age criteria and the detailed reports are available at CBSE website now also.

BOTH MR ASHOK AND KHAGESH CAN FIND PLENTY OF OTHER ISSUES TO REMAIN IN LIMELIGHT. why create controversy every year once an issue has been settled by the govenment

Dr ajay we have raised verious issues and even today also i would like to inform that in the same court four other issues had been decided. we have no control on media to brief them that which issue they will higlight. sir we never work for any limelite and even our effort about these issues are continues for last 10 years. sir i would like to inform you that interview to 3 or 2 year was banned after social jurist PIL only. sir the concept of EWS wich officially discussed in partilament before passing the RTE was another effort of social jurist. sir we need not any lime lite but making some efforts to save tiny tots from the cruelty by school for financial reasons.

My son is 3+ and is finding nothing too difficult in nursery....why the hell should he repeat it next year...Mr. Khagesh u r doing such a huge disservice to people of delhi......think of poor people who wnat their children complete their studies before they retire and want to see them settled...y r u so much after killing people's 1 VALUABLE YEAR OF LIFE..HOW DOES IT MATER WHETHER THE CHILD GOES TO PLAY SCHOOL/REAL SCHOOL.....IF THIS YEARS STUDENTS ARENT PROMOTED....I SUGGEST MR AGARWAL AND U MR KHAGESH PAY EXTRA 1 YR FEES OF ALL STUDENTS IN EVERY SCHOOOL OF DELHI.... U PEOPLE ARE TOGETHER WITH THE SCHOOL MNGT TO FLEECE PARENTS OF 50 K TO 1LCKH RUPEES... I PAID 50 K TO GET MY CHILD ADMITTED.....PLZ DONT DO THIS CRP WORK...FIND SOME OTHER BUSINESS...I PLEAD WITH ALL PARENTS TO OPPOSE THESE PEOPLE TOOTH N NAIL...

Rajeev - that is why these people are working to help us. Since you paid 50K, the goal should be to evolve such a system that no one has to pay 50K in the future. It is your hard earned money which went in corruption and not schools money who are using to promote their own fenzy activities.
One more thing - please don't panic as your child would not have to get admission again. It is from this year only that 3+ child would not get admission automatically. The result would be that no one would pay money at 3+. Only at 4+ once final admission is granted, anyone would pay the complete admission fees, etc. Last year child would automatically get promoted as it has been clearly mentioned in the petition because it is not their fault but the fault of the Govt. by providing rules against the law. And all this happens only if the Court decides this way and definitely last year students admitted would not be covered.

Are you sure that my son wouldnt lose a year ...if these lawyers have their say.....and all this hoopla isnt going to affect last yer admissions...that is as in REST OF INDIA EVERY DELHI CHILD GETS TO CLASS 1 BY AGE 5+ AND COMPLETES SCHOOLING BY 17+

Yes Sir Exactly - Class I at 5+ and comlete schooling at 17+. Nothing changes there. The question is just 1 year of primary education (4+) or 2 years of primary education (3+) before going to Class I which would remain 5+.
Not sure if you know that some schools in Delhi have always been following this - probably because they are not so money oriented - like Presentation Convent, Convent of Jesus & Mary, St. Xavier's and there are some which do not have primary education at all and admit a child at 5+ directly in Class I
