WE PAY TWICE WHY WERE WE NOT INFORMED BEFORE COMMENCEMENT OF ADMISSION PROCESS

LOT OF PARENTS WOULD HAVE OPTED FOR PLAY SCHOOL ALSO SAVED LOTS OF MONEY AND HARRASEMENT

NURSERY AGE 3+| Admission in preschool will not automatically grant eligiblity to continue in preprimary

pre-school classes will not be part of the main school, nor shall these be treated as (a) feeder school for the pre-pri mary classes of the school. Children in pre-school should be from the immediate neighbourhood. There should be no school bag for carrying any pre scribed books for all such preschool classes," the High Court had noted then, taking on record the government's stand.

Govt mean that children admitted in nursery (age 3+) will have to be re-admitted in KG (age 4+) following the same admission process

we were kept in dark and made fool by Govt and schools

Do we have to go through the same grind again next year and wastage of lacs of money and resources

dont we have anyother work except nursery admissions

i have a query . my daughter turns 3 on 19th feb.2011. i do not want her to go nursey at this age. she is too young to handle the pressure. will the schools take her next year in nursery? or will be rejected saying thatbis is overage?

Mauli - if you're talking about the system as is today .. not counting the latest Govt directive, then Yes your daughter will not be eligible for Nursery. She will have to seek admissions in KG only. The good thing is that there are quite a few good schools, which are starting admissions at 4+ only. The bad part being the majority of schools would have a Nursery section full of Kids being promoted to KG .. and your kid would miss out in such schools unless they have a vacancy!

Why didn't Mr Ashok Agarwal file a PIL against all the blatant violations being carried out by schools in Delhi? Why did he choose just one topic?

Ayush, I think its to do with the fact that the problem has been going on for around four years now! Sometime in 2007 the Delhi Govt submitted in front of the High Courts that the age group for kids going to first standard would be 6+. I think his petition was to point out how the orders are still being blatantly violated

I think this government is busy making money that it has no time for ' AAM ADAMI ' like us. Everybody win High court, Government, schools except Parents there Kids. They have no heart to realise our pain. They would only listen to loud protest it is high time we fight for our rights.

We should be informed earlier,this is a wrong thing schools will charge double admission and registration fee from the parents. and next year we have to again go through the same process for standing in queue or not.Its agreat pity for parents nobody thing about it nor the govt neither the schools.I think they are not running schools but bussiness organisations.

You have finely charted out the problems and needs in behalf of each parent. If there is emergency even Chief Minister can come out and solve this problem. A total failure by government's policy making throughout the admission process. It's a shame when India is talking about Super Power Nation. Government should respect Mr.Vohra's voice raised in behalf of more than 25,000 families. Education For ALL should be our motto. Education has already gone as business.

This system is actually absurd...d deciding bosses r themselves not clear about what they want @ Mr Lovely...y were d schools n parents taken for a ride...y dis rule was not clarifed earlier?Who will pay for d precious loss of our time n money?First n foremost dis rule should not b implemented?If d authorities r hell bound 2 implement it.It should b 4m d sesssion2013-14...Where a child of 4+ will go to pre primary of d same school where it has to pursue its formal schooling..as simple as that. before dat any kind of change of rule will b absolutely unfair

This is really very frustrated and intolerable; I think they all got some benefits from the school community to pass this type of order. What do they think that we parents are fool and do not have any place in this world, we are working on this Nursery admission mission on the war level for last 12 days(planning not counted which could be more) even in this severe weather conditions and now they say that we will have to do all this next year too?....what the hell they think about us? This is totally in the favor of the school business shops...I strongly against this order..and they must change this as Govt. is to serve and protect us not we are to serve and protect them....Please I request all parents should stand together and make their voice against this....
