Shiv Nadar's HCL Group, specifically through Vama Sundari Investments (Delhi) Private Limited, acquired HDFC Education and Development Services (HDFC Edu) from HDFC Bank. This acquisition was finalized in two phases, with 91% of the stake sold by October 31, 2024, and the remaining 9% by June 30, 2025. The deal was part of HDFC Bank's divestment of its stake in HDFC Edu, as mandated by the RBI following the merger with HDFC.

Thank you, Sakshi. I had heard about Shiv Nadar acquisition but wasn't certain. After doing more research, I confirmed that HDFC School has indeed been acquired by Shiv Nadar, and the name is also changing to Knowledge Habitat. However, I'd still appreciate feedback from parents about this transition, as I didn’t find many reviews on the link you provided. Thanks again for your help!
