MCD Birth Certificate

Can anyone provide information whether original birth certificate issued from municipal corporation of my native place in rajasthan (other than Delhi) are acceptable? As at some schools it has been mentioned that birth certificate issued by MCD will only be accepted.

Valid all over India and accepted.
