yes, what you say is correct, we need to send the kids to physical school.. but the problem is with school transportation. many schools are still reluctant to provide transportation and they are not accepting private cabs also.. this is a major problem for working parents.. and there is no clear idea how the school is handling with COVID precautionery measures for primary sections.. and many are waiting for the new session to start.. may be we can c many students coming to school from next academic year..
Yes ,Transportation is main problem as highlighted in article by Mr Sumit Vohra.
Rest your points are very valid and I concur with you.
Totally agreed. Its high time the kids start going to school and start bonding with their classmates. Lack of transportation was indeed the main reason behind low attendance in delhi (gurgaon started transportation a few months ago itself and have better attendance rate than delhi). Also since the government allowed hybrid mode as well, that option was available to parents and hence, many continued with online classes.
Personal experience - In my daughter’s school, the physical offline class attendance has been nearly 25% for the last 2 months and we have been managing the pickup and drop on our own (which is a hassle indeed). But my kids are super excited. On the offline days, both the daughters always wake up on time and are absolutely delighted to goto school !!
Come april and many schools are moving to 100% offline mode and starting transportation as well. So the attendance rate will definitely shoot up !
Yes :)
We would we starting new thread today, which we normally start on 1st Apr as some few school have started offline classes for KG and senior classes from yesterday.
HI Sakshi, Mr Vohra has raised very relevant point.
