Mission School Admission Update :- Delhi High court today heard Mr. Ashok Agarwal in length about his argument about failure of Govt. of NCT Delhi to comply with directions of Hon'ble High court constituted Ganuly committee which recommended formal school age at 4+ and later cabinet approved the recommendation and DOE filed affidavit before high court in this regard. The argument will be continue on Monday as the time was over today. It is expected that the verdict will come on Monday on the issue raised by social jurist in present PIL before Hon'ble Delhi High Court.

Please explain that if verdict favours 4 + age then what should I do for nursery admission process of my kid. Should I stop it in between and put him in some another play for nursery and wait for next year or should I continue with the current admission process and get him admitted to some formal school?? Please advice as I am not what does this whole verdict means about formal education..Kindly reply ASAP

@Yashica,Don't Panic ..wait till Monday and i think as per media reports (TOI) today the age might remain 3 yrs for this year ( Its my comprehension)

If Verdict goes for 4+ as minimum age, then it might be a good news. Not only for those parents with 4+ kid, but but also for Parentd who believe 3+ age is actually too early for a kid going to school. Let's wait & watch....

Age criteria is 3+ for nursery no change. Tomorrow's verdict will be to decide which will be the entry level class nursery or Pre-Primary and if kids from nursery will be promoted by default to Pre-primary or fresh admission would take place for Pre-Primary.

My kid is going to be 4+ in March 2012, should I apply for nursery(pre-school) or KG(Prep/Pre-Primary) or both i.e. in whatever school admissions are open for both (becoz in some schools there are no seats for KG & some will start admissions for KG in Feb / March).

Will I be disqualified if I apply for both?
