Mother's int. distance based criteria

Hi, sometimes i think, is there any define criteria for school related to distance and all/ Some school give priority to 0-2 KM , some 0-6 km and some 0-8 km..Official body should regularize this thing also as same point system for 0-5 km and all.

Among them Mother's int has unique criteria which does not depend on Distance also. They have marked it by Localities. Now see the pointing:

For Mother's to AIIMS - Point 40.-> Now i think Mehraulli is relatively nearer to Monther's then to AIIMS. So, why not the same points for Mehraulli. They hs placed Mehraulli in 25 points category. Can anyone define it how?

And other Location having highest 40 points in mothers are hardly 500 meters from that school. So whats the exact criteria or everything is biased.

I am an attorney and can i go for legal action against this.

True. Mothers distance criterea as per the localities is completely flawed. South Extention gets 25 points and Defence Colony which is a flyover away from South Ex gets 10 points ????

It should be done automatically by Google map application as many schools have uploaded the same on thier online application system. It calculates the distance to the school either areial or by road.

Extra points are given to bus routes as per their guidelines.

Its an old process which they are following for years...Being no.1 school in south delhi, almost everyone want their child to get admitted there... Chances r bright only if u r putting up in Azad appartments and/or have been associated with sri aurobindo society...rest depends on ur luck on that lottery day...

@Latha: it means Azad apartment parents hire MI buses for their kids or MI buses only run towards AIIMS only as i can assure you neither they are giving points to Katwariya sarai nor Mehrauli then only one road is open for them.this is something like 100% management seat..
