Mr Vohra raised same issue earlier also. Was quoted with Goldy malhotra(principal)vasant vihar branch in same article ....Raised this issue on 3rd jan 2010 program and gave written proof ( forms without any point system) and also to print media ..which was final nail in the coffin.

Lot of people think no one cud touch modern ..but he has proved them wrong ............
Another achievement...Thanks for helping every parent..!!
thank you sumit ji
Good Job. should also keep an eye on below as well
Sanskriti School pulled up for bias

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

New Delhi: Taking serious view of the fact that Sanskriti School in the capital was following discriminatory policies, the Delhi High Court asked the well known school to explain its criteria for admission.

Senior Advocate Arvind Nigam, who was appointed amicus curiae (friend of the court) in the case, submitted his report that the school is fully funded by the central government and the children of top bureaucrats were mostly studying there.

Objecting to the school's step of giving admission to only children of bureaucrats, a division bench comprising Chief Justice Ajit Prakash Shah and Justice S.Muralidhar said, "When the school is funded by the government then why there is discrimination? It is our money. A school cannot function like this."

Solicitor General Gopal Subramaniam, who was appearing on behalf of the centre government, submitted, "A separate school for the children of bureaucrats is there as that is the transferable job and children suffer the most in the whole affair."

But the bench looked dissatisfied by his submission and asked the counsel appearing for the school to explain the criteria under which it granted admission to children by January 13, 2010.

"You cannot classify children like this. We understand the hardships faced by the government officers when they were transferred but that does not mean that others are being discriminated like this," the bench asked.

The bench passed the order taking a cognizance of a media report about the school two years ago. IANS
Thanx Mr. Vohra.....
This school deserves to b taught a lesson...
Now we expect some kind of transperancy in the point system from the school.....
But still they have a superiority complex..... Action against them is a MUST!!!!
Thanx again....
Schools taking these type of steps needs to be taught a good lesson so that children do not suffer in future.
Thanks!!!!!!! for helping every perants & i want some help of fee structure of nursery school of all delhi school (East Delhi, laxmi nagar consituvensy)
This is a very good lesson taught to such schools. Infact there are still some schools who followed point system but havenot declared it to the parents eg. DPS Rohini. In case someone knows please share the info.
commendable job mr vohra
Though the date given to Sanskriti School was 13th Jan yet the parents are not aware what reply has been given by the school to Delhi High Court or to Directorate of Education. Shall appreciate if Mr. Vohra could intervene and make it transparent as to what approach shall be followed for Nursery Admissions this year so that it should not be too late because one their list is out, it would be more difficult to challange the same..
Also something needs to be done about other schools... there is no uniformity in criteria...it varies from school to school...also some weird points like parents back ground (many professions have been excluded!!)...transfer cases (what does this mean and how to judge this and why to give unfair advantage to non transfer cases?) and the relevance of more points for the girl child (in private schools is this relevant as every one who can afford the fees come from affluent homes!) i think the best way to go for admissions is lucky draw conducted by third parties
Dear Mr. Vohra

We must congratulate to you on making schools to behave as education institutes and not commercial or corporate world. We would sincerely request you to help us with Amity International School, Saket also. We live just 100 mts away from the school and both the parents are Post Graduate with additional professional degree of B.Ed (Mother). We were short listed for Interaction /Interview and attended the same and given 10-15 pages test on parenting also but in the final list of selected candidates our daughter(first born Girl child) name is not there. There is no transparency also. We tried to contact Principal through Telephone, Email and by Fax also but no response from the school yet.

It neighborhood school will not give preference then how we can expect admission of our Girl Child outside our vicinity. Please help.

Thanking you
Best regards
SNR
