My daughter's school is not refunding the fees for April. Only good thing they have done is to charge 1 month transport fees and not for 3 months. Though, Children will be going for 4 days only. As per schools, they are paying salaries to staff for entire year....

That's why schools have been opened purposely for few days so that they can charge fees for entire quarter however authorities should instruct schools not to charge fees for entire quarter or to adjust some amount even if they are bearing some expenses and expenses can always be borne by the students who are already in the school and already paying fees for entire year, since when schools have become dependent on parents of nursery kids to pay salaries to few teachers ? That is no justification for charging complete fees when children have hardly attended school for 4 days or so.

Most of the school started their sessions today, even for three days, just so that the parents don't ask for a refund. Can't really blame them, it's not really their fault. They just kept following the umpteen guidelines issued by the courts and doe. So when though we have to hear this extra cost, it is basically the doe and the litigant's fault who delayed this matter for so long.
