A very informative article. All schools should strictly adhere to the DOE policy regarding admission. No schools in Delhi are allowed to follow to fix their own time in advance before the common timeframe set by the DOE for issue of application. If suppose any schools want to advance their dates, schools have to inform the education department and get no objection certificate. Atleast parent community in Admissionsnursery.com should not blindly follow anything and bring any issue to Mr.Vohra who is always there to help out.

Thanks Sumit ji for ur great efforts and prevention words. We are staying in Janak Puri n honestly giving a second thought about OPG School. But ur words have cleared all my doubts.

Ur site and updates are so useful. I m mother of 3 yr old daughter n hope she will get admission in some good school without any alumni or sibling points.

It is my sincere advice to all the parents. Pls don't go by the brand name or building of any school. Instead see for yourself what your child would be able to get from a particular school. Calculate the hours he/she would be getting for playing & interacting with his/her peer group. Don't kill their childhood just to satisfy your status needs.

Can anyone guide me which school from east Delhi is good by categorizing  (1) SLS DAV School, MausamVIhar (2) Hillwoods Academy, Preet Vihar (3) Vivekanand School, D Block, Anand Vihar, (4) DAV Public School Dayanand Vihar (5) DPS, INdirapuram (6) Bharti Public School Swasthya Vihar

Is there a certainty about when the admission process will begin? do schools adhere to the dates given by DOE? How many days does one normally get between the announcement of admissions till submission of forms/ support documents?

1 Normally admissions window is of one month ( but 20 -30 % schools do not give full month some schools even give 2-3 days only)

2 Most probably it will be in dec

3 Submission of documents is required, when your  wards gets selected or where schools are not dong online admissions

Yes 90% of established school follow common admission calender ( except some minority schools ....don't sometimes)
