I believe first child should have preference over sibling.
No offence but it feels to me that by giving sibling points we are giving another reason to increase our population.
I am also agree to this first child should get these points so that parents who had their first child would get some relief.
IF 5 POINTS FOR FIRST CHILD ARE GIVEN THEN 1 SUGGESTION IS THAT PEOPLE SHOULD NOT FILL FORMS AGAIN BUT SUBMIT FIRST BABY AFFIDAVIT TO SCHOOL THEY HAVE APPLIED AND TAKE A RECEIVING OF THE SAME .THE SCHOOLS IN RECEIVING WILL ALSO WRITE THE FORM NO/REGISTRATION NO GIVEN BY SCHOOL (EARLIER WHEN THE FORMS WERE SUBMITTED) SO THAT SCHOOLS DO NOT SAY THAT THE PARENT HAVENT SUBMITTED AFFIDAVIT AND AFTER THAT IF SCHOOL DOES DOL ,THEY SHOULD ISSUE A LIST OF SELECTED APPLICANTS 1 DAY IN ADVANCE OF DOL.
Hi Sakshi,
Request you to let me know if schools like Mount Carmel(Anand Niketan), Fr. Agnel, Frank Anthony and Holy Child Auxilium would come out with their 1st. list tomorrow.
Awaiting your reply.
just joking but jis city ka CM he doosri state se aaya ho wahan "Son of Soil" kaise hoga :)
here is my one cent -
First child or second child - how does that effect for getting resvn in school via points. Both have to study irrespective of being first/second/third. I know many will say about population and all. And yes, second child will get sibling point but only in one school. Why should second child suffer because he is late!!.
Sibling - If you have more than one child, then only you can understand its utility. Siblings must be given most weightage.
Alumni - Although I dont personally approve of but thinking of parents who are passed out and want to be associated with it via their kids, they should be given some weightage but least. May be 5 points at most. And that too on condition that they contribute to school in some way.
Girl Child - This shouldnt be there for General category. Wether I have a girl or a boy, I want both them to be at same level at home or at school. Its surely needed for EWS.
Special Needs - These kids have right to education too!
I feel their should be only one criteria of distance. Nothing else. Rest should be resvn by percentage and draw within the percentage. E.g., if there are 100 seats, 25 are reserved for EWS. 5 may be for Special Needs, 5 for Alumni, 10 for Siblings and rest for general. This AS PER ME is more unbiased approach.
Transfer cases - now they are tricky depending on whether fake or really genuine.
