Ready!
I am ready for it too. I had applied to 22 schools and couldnt make it to a single one. I am along with my family members are ready for the march.
Correct let's do it.

all the school points system are rubbish. you cannot expect even a mediocre school not displaying your sons name reason only 10 points for neighbourhood in New State Academy (now KIIT) all other points are for girl child, single parent, alumni, transfer, sibling, staff. disgusting...

you cannot think of big names at all.

Sumit Ji..Plz lead this...we are agreed to Mr. Sharique
We all are with you Sarique Jee n Sumit Jee.

I have two daughters studing in Apeejay School, Pitampura, I applied for my son admissio in te school however disapointed to know that my son has no place in the school. There was no point system, no educational qulification nothing, they have kept quota for sibling yet we do not understand how they have selcted the candidate in the same category. No ist for draw of lots, no body aware how they did it.

I wonder , how my son will get the education now.

If I count on the no of schools within the radius of 5 kms.....there are 10 schools. I had applied in all of them as well as to about 10 schools that fall in 10 kms distance. Could not make it to any one of them. What a crap is this point system!. And we have suffered coz....we are general......huh...

I agreed with mr pramod Kumar

WHY THERE IS GENDER DISCRIMINATION?????????????

BUT

THERE IS ALSO RELIGON DISCRIMINATION??????????............

agreed!

We have applied in 18 schools, and got admission in only 2 schools, none of the nearby schools within 2 km range has chosen our son. Should we be punished for having SINGLE BOY child. All points have been given to Alumni and sibling....approx. 50 points for both. Just want to understand the rationale behind that and what is the govt understanding on that. If we are not alumni of any school of our choice, our son does not have right to study in that school. Such a point system is a total failure and shows clearly that our son does not have a RIGHT TO EDUCATION (RTE). There should have been reserved seats for the single child as well, if admissions are solely on the point basis.

Also in a metro like Delhi, there is no reason to give points to girl child, as govt should understand that if parents wants to educate their girl child, they will....but if they do not want....they wil certailnly not even if points are given. Govt should be genuine to us.
