Things are not clear yet, All the parents are against lottery system. Point system should be implemented.

Thanks Sakshi mam for sharing this news.

I think as per the feelers coming from Govt. it seems there will be a mix system--point based criteria and then to finalize from the shortlisted by means of lottery system as the minister hinted on neighourhood,siblings & alumni criteria.

it also seems that the same age criteria can also be retained as the previous year one.

but we should be ready to hear some surprises too as the mighty school lobby is trying everything to safeguard its interests.

Well, what's the big deal, so much confusion on Nursery admissions, dont we have enough educated / learned people in the Govt to devise a simple , non -partial and people friendly Admission system, it;s really shocking.

Firstly those Children should be given preference whose residence is near to the school, secondly a fair point system should be devised and Alumni should be considered. The age Criteria is simple , at the time of admission the child should be 4+. You cant have age consideration on Jan 1st or 31st March, that way the child loses Months or maybe nearly a Year.
