@Kanchan : Here are my 2 Cents

St Thomas

1. Non Coed

2. A popular school: Recent fames Tina Dabi & Manushi Chillar

3. Traditional school

4. Academic & Activities: Sufficient

5. Fees Reasonable

GD Salwan:

1. Co-ed

2. A school from Salwan's Management & again a piece of cake in this area

3. Montessori Approach in initial years

4. Academics: More Focus Activities: Sufficient

5. Fees on high end

I took admission in GD Salwan because of Focus on academics & because of Co-ed(Though I didnt have any option of St thomas).

Consider Fees, Coed & distance as your parameters in selecting the school since both are brand name in itself..!!

PS: If I would have been in your shoes I would have gone for GD because of Coed + Distance factor
