Nursery Admission for 2015-2016

Hi, 

I am little confused , my son  will turn 3yrs on 21st March 2014 so he is eligible for Nursery in yr 2015- 2016.

Kindly let me know the exact details for his nursery admissions.

Also when will the forms come out for nursery admission for session 2015-2016.

Will be grateful if you could help me giving exact details.

I am sorry to disappoint you, but he was eligible this year. The minimum age for 2014-15 is 3+ as on 31st March 2014. Please see DPS RKP, or any other school link

Thank you Mr. Singh,

But he will be 3 yrs on 21st march , when asked in few schools they said he should be 3.5 on 31st march . He will be 3 yrs and ten days.

Thats what is confusing me.

Unfortunately, those schools were not clear themselves and in the process they misguided you. My son turned 3 in Feb this year and I have applied.

Please see para 8. iii of Directorate of Education (DoE) circular dated 18.12.2013. I am sending you the link. You can see that there is no upper age limit, so u can apply for your son next year and also try in those schools which grant admission at KG level.

I suggest you go through DoE circular, websites of some schools and stay connected on this forum to be better prepared for his admission. All the best
