Nursery admission for 4 year old

Hi, My son will turn 4 on 27 March 2019. please let me know if he will be eligible for Nursery admission in 2019-20 batch? He is currently going to pre-nursery in a play school. Regards

He is eligible for KG.

See last year DOE notification point 15 (iv) for upper age cut off.

You can try in NCR schools which have no upper age cut off .

As Delhi schools will accept even Nursery passed out child from play school in KG.but not from Pre-Nursery.

Thank you for your prompt response Sakshi. I am not too keen on NCR schools due to the travel time and distance. Let me figure out what can be done. I think they will take in KG which is OK with me.

Better contact Deputy Dir office of your zone for details and new rules after implementation of upper age cap this year.

He was cutting it too fine. He had just turned three and I was not too comfortable.

Thats what my concern is too. My daughter will turn 3 on 25 th march 2019

I wish to continue her playschool instead of formal schooling

She won't be eligible for Nursery when she turns 4yrs .

See the notification above.Admit her in Formal school.

My concern is same too as my daughter will turn 3 in march ending 2019 I wish to continue her nursery with play school or I can get her admitted to formal school when she turns 4 in 2010 is it possible
