Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2026-27

School is not entertaining anyone in the registered list they said they will cal back if required . Spoke to school they said parents don't have to come for verification unless we call .

we also called birla to confirm that today is only for sibling alumini category. they said yes. but the weired part was that they asked 'aapko aur koi call to nahi aaya' ......we said no...........is there a category that is getting calls from them other than sibling/alumini???? god knows whats going on everywhere you turn.

Dear Mr. Vohra, Latha Ma'am ,

I am unable to understand the point system ,

we will be able to secure 35 or maximum 40 points on the basis of distance and first born (20-+20) (this will be the case of most of the parents )

so that means our son would not be eligible for admission in any of the " good schools " or is there any chance of him to get into a good school through transparent procedure or do we need to pay donation to get him in to a good school, now not so good school are asking for donations in the name of building funds .....

so what is the point in keeping the elaborate admission forms, point system,affidavits and troubling the parents

I have been to some of the schools around there is no transparency at all( as there is no list of selected candidates displayed on website or notice board ) these schools are inviting all parents and are asking for big amount in cash to secure the seat and some schools where the seats are all ready fixed are not even letting you enter their premises :(

Please suggest n guide

agree with you priyanka. the problem is that the courts will also not intervene again .

alumni parents of same school and a sibling get assured admission because they score on all criteria

maybe goverment should launch correspondence courses from nursery because getting admission in a medical /engineering /management college is easier than nursery admissions

Seriously without Sibling/Alumni (for general category) chances seems to very less. We are having 40-45 points only.... Where parents like us go :(

Really..i m very much depress by not having chance in draw due to the less point.what will we do if not get admission in any of the applied school...

Take the example of DPS Dwarka. My kid has only 45 points while the list of shortlisted candidates (50+ points) for draw is 111 for 98 seats. So that means virtually anyone with <50 points is out of contention.

For sibling, they have given 30 points and for first born they have given 5 points only. Why not 30 for both to make it a fair play. And if my first kid cannot make it to DPS then the chances of second kid going to the same school are ZERO because the second kid won't even have the 5 points (i.e. for the first born).

Schools also plan the points system very carefully e.g. Sachdeva didnt have Alumni points because the school is not so old that it would have Alumni parents. So they have kept - Location, First born and Girl Child points.

there should be only distance point.no other points.

dps dwarka giving 15km range, it shld not be more than 8km.

i think parents are also responsible for this race. for nursery, kids should study close to home.

i see (including me) all finding best school no matter how far it is. we shld look for good school whichever is near to home
