Yes, it should change for those who doesn't have schools in 8 km radius.
But do school will provide the transport facility to new locations with increase in distance.

Already Schools were sending buses till 15 km and we want mac distance as not good school in all the areas.

Many sibling case lost admissions last year as the criteria was 8km .
DPS / Springdales /tagore / Gd Goenka/ Bhatnagar n many school buses go till 15 km .

It is such well articulated by mr vohra about increasing distance criteria and shud be segregated too keeping in view that the children living closest to d school gets more points however this has to be formulated very minutely n with dilgence so thay no1 feels deprived .
Also, there shud b no differentiation between a girl n boy child and everyone shud be kept at par while formulating d policies in which parents body shud be consulted for getting out d best for all d stakeholders. N Mr Vohra shud be d presiding chairman of d committee..:-)

This poll was published in The Hindu/ Ind Exp / Toi / NBT one month back . all these paper are read by DOE and Judiciary . But now the case has gone to court . Lets wait for the verdict.
