Neha
Admissions open after summer vacations also in PGGS
Pranshant / Neha, I am a last year parent from PGGS its a good school, focus on practical learning by doing things, focus of co circular activities and holistic development and syllabus is very practical. Fee is around 20 K with meals and transport. If fee is not an issue than its a good school.
This will be the 3rd batch of Nursery.
They are open for admission and i think it should not be a problem. Please call the school and check about the admission.
PGGS is a new school so how it will progress over the years is a big question mark. No one knows that.
Secondly I had said in one of my posts earlier that if the school is value for money , parents do not mind paying ( eg Vasant Valley) but whether the fees of 20 - 22k (for PGGS) is justified or not ,that remains to be seen.
But with the options you have , I think you should block your seat .
The most encouraging part about PGGS is that all the reviews posted by the parents who have had first hand experience have been extremely positive . The way of teaching , the student teacher ratio and the involvement of parents in the education of their own child all are top grade in PGGS.
I think it is a gamble worth taking especially if you have not been successful with the more sought after /top schools.
Agree Prakash !!
I concur with Prakash
SPOT ON
Sakshiji
I think just like we have an Official thread for Nursery Admission 2017 , we should also have a seperate thread for school reviews , comparisons and seeking opinion regarding the selection of school. It will solve 2 big problems.........
1. Parents will have the luxury of just looking at a thread and will get answer to all their queries and this will also avoid repetition and scrolling through the back pages of this thread that contains ALL THE INFORMATION.
2.There will not be any need for sub threads/ forums which is created by an individual parent in order to seek answers to his/her queries.
Humble Request
Prakash ji, you captured my thoughts with this post. This will be of immense help and parents will be able to get feedback from parents across years. To get reviews on few schools I had to use the search option and go through multiple different threads, which although helpful is extremely time consuming. This idea will make it very convenient for parents.
