Information regarding Selection criteria (Open Seats)

Neighbourhood - Localities and areas will be considered on the basis of aerial distance.
Siblings - Only real brother or sister of existing students of the school (VGS) will be considered. No extra points for girl child or third sibling.
First Child:- An affidavit duly signed by both the parents (Affidavit to be submitted at the time of admission only, in case the child is selected).

SELECTION CRITERIA FOR OPEN SEATS

INSTRUCTIONS FOR REGISTRATION

It would be preferable that the online form be filled.

You are advised to fill in only one form - either Online OR Offline, to avoid cancellation of both the forms. The school cannot be held responsible for any error in this context. Please read this page completely and understand it before filling the Registration Form.

The admission process would be as per the guidelines issued by the Department of Education from time to time. (Please refer to the disclaimer).
Total number of seats in Pre School are 196. [General category-108, EWS/DG – 49, Management Quota-39].
The minimum age required for registration is 3 years and the maximum is less than 4 years as on 31st March, 2025. (Children born between 01.4.2021 to 31.3.2022 - both dates inclusive, are eligible for admission in Pre-School/Nursery).
The age relaxation for admission of up to 30 days may be granted at the level of the Head of the school in the minimum & upper age limits for Pre-School/Nursery. The parents may approach the Principal for seeking age relaxation through a manual application.
Registration forms will be available online from November 28, 2024 onwards till December 20, 2024. Submit the details online and pay Registration Fee of Rs. 25/- as instructed. You will receive an acknowledgement mail with registration number and online payment details.
Registration forms can also be collected from School Gate No. 1 and the same can be submitted to school w.e.f. November 28, 2024 till December 20, 2024 between 9.00 am to 12.00 noon, except for Second Saturdays and holidays. However on the last day, the duly completed Forms can be submitted upto-04.00 pm.
No supporting documents are to be submitted along with the Registration Form as the same are to submitted at the time of verification only, in case the child is selected.
Verification of original documents supporting the information given in the registration form will be done only for applicants whose names would appear in the first or the second list, to be displayed on January 17, 2025 and February 03, 2025 (if required, in case seats are not filled by first the draw).Display date of last list (if required) is 26.02.2025.
Medical concerns (if any) including the child with special needs has to be declared compulsorily in medical information column. Suppression of information will be considered as incorrect information.

Birth Certificate & Aadhar Card of the child.
Fee Receipt or Student’s identity Card in case of siblings (real).

- i. Ration card/Smart Card issued in the name of parents (Mother/Father) with the name of the child.
- ii. Domicile certificate of the child or of his/her parents.

Registrations are open for classes Pre-School/Nursey to XII. Registration forms are to be filled and submitted online only (no hard copies to be submitted).

Forms will be available on the School website from 28.11.2024(Thursday) to 20.12.2024 (Friday) for class Pre-School/Nursery (3+).

Important Instructions:

1. Please read these instructions carefully before filling the Registration Form.

2. On paying the Registration Fee of Rs. 25/- (online), you will receive an acknowledgement mail having registration number and online payment details.

3. Total number of seats available for Pre-school/Nursery are 153. (General Category-115, and EWS/DG Category - 38) .

4. Children whose birth date falls between 1st April 2021 and 31st March 2022 are eligible for registration to Pre-school/Nursery for the academic session 2025-26. (Relaxation of 30 days as per DOE guidelines will be allowed).

5. This registration will be treated as provisional until you submit the duly completed scanned documents online before due date..

6. Criteria for admissions under General category seats in Pre-school/Nursery will be based on points as per DOE norms for private unaided recognized schools and is as follows:

3. Copy of latest paid fee bill of the sibling, if studying in VIS (if applying under SIBLING CATEGORY)

4. Class XII Certificate / School Leaving Certificate for Parent Alumni.
5. Soft copy of colour photographs in jpeg, jpg format (not more than 3 months old). of Candidate, Candidate’s Father and Candidate’s Mother.
6. For Class-XI - Pre board result of Class-X/Half yearly.

Details of the timings and dates for the draw of lots, will be announced at the school's website (www.rsjms.com ) and eligible applicants will be welcome to be present, if they wish. It will not be possible for the school to accommodate every parent at the venue of the lottery. The actual conduct of draw of lots will be recorded on video.
The schedule to be followed will be in accordance with the guidelines of the Government.

AVAILABILITY AND SUBMISSION OF FORMS

For admission to classes at the entry level (Pre-School/Pre-Primary/ Class I), the Registration Form will be uploaded on the school website (www.rsjms.com) on Thursday, 28th November, 2024.
The Form can be filled and submitted online only till Friday, 20th December, 2024.
Payment of Registration Fee (Rs. 25/-) must be made online after all relevant documents have been attached at the time of submission of the form.
The documents should be properly scanned and uploaded in appropriate format (JPG/Pdf) only.
An incomplete form with unfilled mandatory fields or absence of relevant documents, will be REJECTED and REGISTRATION CANCELLED.
After submission of duly filled application form, a receipt with a unique Registration Number will be generated for the applicant, which can be downloaded by the parent and saved for record.

DOCUMENTS TO BE ATTACHED WITH APPLICATION FORM:

Self-attested photocopy of the Date of Birth Certificate of the child.
