Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2025-26

You are advised to fill-in the Online Form.
The Online Registration Forms will be available at the school website from 28.11.2024 (Thursday) to 20.12.2024 (Friday). The last date for receiving all forms is 20.12.2024 (Friday).
Registration Forms sent by email /post / courier will not be considered.
Please read this page carefully and understand it before filling the Registration Form.
Submit the details online and pay the Registration Fee of Rs. 25/- online. You will receive an acknowledgement mail having Registration Number and online payment details.
Last date of submitting complete Registration Form Online: 20.12.2024 (Friday). No need to send separate emails.
Total number of seats available is 160. (which includes EWS/DG Category - 40)
Children whose birth date falls between 1st March 2021 and 31st March 2022 are eligible for registration for the academic session 2025-26. (3 Years to 4.1 Years old). The upper age relaxation granted at the level of school.
The admission process has been designed to provide equal opportunity to all and to maintain transparency in the admission process.
Those who will be selected after the draw of lots will be called for the verification of the submitted data. Please bring hard copies of the pre-filled and signed online Registration Form along with the self-attested photocopies of the original documents as supporting evidence; on the day of verification. Submission of incorrect data may lead to cancellation of place on the list.
Following criteria for admission for open seats is as per DoE norms for private unaided recognized schools:

Self-attested documents to be uploaded along with the Registration Form:
1. Proof of the Date of Birth
2. Proof of the Residential Address
  - Ration Card/Smart Card issued in the name of parents (Mother/Father having name of the child)
  - Domicile Certificate of Child or of his/her parents
  - Voter I-Card (EPIC) of any of the parents
  - Electricity Bill/MTNL Telephone Bill/Water Bill/Passport in the name of any of the parents or child
  - Aadhar Card / UID card issued in the name of any of the parents
3. If applying under SIBLING CATEGORY, a copy of the latest paid fee bill of the sibling is to be submitted. (If not supported by the latest fee bill of SVIS, sibling points will not be awarded)

The admission schedule for admissions to Pre-School, 2025-26 is as below:

Uploading details of children who applied to the school for admission under Open Seats on the school website (www.svis.org.in) as per the point system – 03.01.2025 (Friday)
Seeking clarification, if any, of the submitted online data by school and resolution of queries of parents, if any (by written / email / verbal interaction) regarding allotment of points to their wards – 06.01.2025 (Monday) to 08.01.2025 (Wednesday) till 10:00 a.m. (No changes/objections will be allowed after 08.01.2025, 10:00 a.m.)
a) Date of draw of lots as per the point system – 09.01.2025 (Thursday) – 02:30 p.m.
b) Displayed on the website of school (www.svis.org.in) on 09.01.2025 (Thursday) by evening. Lists will not be displayed on the school gate.
Final verification by school of the selected candidates and admission for the successful candidates of the main list – from 10.01.2025 (Friday) to 17.01.2025 (Friday)
Final verification by school of the selected candidates and admission for the successful candidates of the first waiting list - 18.01.2025 (Saturday) to 25.01.2025 (Saturday)
Final verification by school of the selected candidates and admission for the successful candidates of the second waiting list from 27.01.2025 (Monday) to 03.02.2025 (Monday)
Subsequent lists, if any – List No. 3 – 10.02.2025 (Monday)

List No. 4 – 26.02.2025 (Wednesday)

Closure of admission process – 17.03.2025 (Monday)

ADMISSION CRITERIA FOR PRE-SCHOOL FOR ACADEMIC SESSION : 2025-26

In pursuance to the Director of Education, Govt. of NCT of Delhi order F.DE/15(172)/PSB/2016/6455-6464 dated 11.11.2024 the following criteria have been laid down for admission to Pre-School Class in the school for the year 2025-26.

1. Seats Available:

Seats available in Pre-School = 160

2. Category Wise Seat Distribution:

a) E.W.S / D.G./ CWSN Category = 40
25% of the seats are to be filled from candidates belonging to the E.W.S. Category/ CWSN/ Disadvantaged group/Orphans who are eligible as per conditions laid down in Govt. Notification no.15(172)/DE/Act/2010/69 dated 07.01.2011 and subsequent orders.
(Admissions in this category shall be done based on computerized draw to be conducted by DOE and sponsored to the school)

b) General (Open) Seats = 120
75% of the seats are reserved for candidates belonging to the General Category/ Management Discretionary Group under the school specific criteria.

Management Quota 20% = 32
Seats to be filled at the discretion of the management

General Category (Open) Seats = 88
The remaining seats which are not covered under above categories shall be filled on 100-point scale based on school specific criteria without any discrimination of Caste / Religion / Region etc.

3. School Specific Criteria (General Seats)

The School specific admission criteria have been devised on a 100-point scale to be distributed as under

Neighbour hood	70 points
Candidates residing within 0 to 8 km distance from the school	70
Candidates residing beyond 8 kms distance from the school	60

Siblings/ Staff wards - 30 Points
Candidates whose real sister or brother is a student of this school or wards of the employees of SPS, Maurya Enclave, Pitampura only

3.1 In case of Neighbourhood , the applications must be accompanied by google map showing the road distance from their residence to the school. Points would be given according to the defined number of kilometers in the applicable range.

3.2 In case of siblings, the application must be accompanied by a self-attested photocopy of the latest fee payment receipt (Oct 2024 - Dec 2024) of the sibling students indicating the admission number and both sides of the ID card.

3.3 In case of staff ward, the application must be accompanied by a self-attested photocopy of the ID card (both sides) of the staff member

3.4 Selection of Candidates for admission in Pre-School class during the session 2025-2026

i.) School follows the 100-point scale system.
ii.) Out of the total applications from the Neighbourhood range and Sibling Criteria/Staff Wards, admission would be first offered to the candidates attaining maximum points.
iii.) If the applications attaining similar points are more than the seats of general category, the draw of lots shall be conducted to admit the students against the number of available seats on first-come-first-served basis till the seats are filled. The date of the draw would be intimated through School Notice Board and Website also.
iv.) If vacancies remain unfilled after exhausting the applications from the first lot of maximum scorers, the applications from the next lot of maximum scorers shall be considered in the above manner.

EWS & DG Category
The school shall not process the admission of EWS/DG Category students. The D.O.E. will process the applications online for admission in schools as per the guidelines.

Management Quota
The seats under management quota shall be filled at the discretion of management.

4. Age

As per D.O.E. order the child should be at least three (03) years old as on 31st March of the year for admission in Pre-school. However, the child must be less than 04 years old as on 31st March 2025.This includes all the children born between 01.04.2021 & 31.03.2022. Age relaxation of upto 30 days may be provided under the existing rules for which a request in the manual form would need to be made to the Principal.

5. Registration

The process of Nursery Registration will be conducted both via online and offline modes.

For OFF-LINE Registration: Standardized registration forms shall be available at the Fee Counter of the school on all working days from Thursday, 28th November 2024 to Friday, 20th December 2024 between 8:30 am to 12:30 pm on payment of Rs.25/- only.

The filled in forms should be deposited at the Admin Branch of the school between 9:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on all working days. The last date for deposit of application form for registration shall be 20th December 2024 up to 14.00 hrs.

For ON-LINE Registration: Online Registration forms will be available on the school website. The direct link to apply online will be available in the Admission page of the school website from Thursday, 28th November 2024 to Friday, 20th December 2024 upto 23:59 hrs. Instructions and guidelines to fill the Online form available on the website should be carefully read and followed.

Documents Required at the time of Admission (original and self attested photocopy):

1. Birth certificate issued by the competent authority.
2. Any one of the following documents:
- Ration Card issued in the name of parents (Mother/father having name of child)
- Domicile certificate of child or of his/her parents.
- Voter I-Card (EPIC) of any of the parents.
- Electricity Bill/MTNL Bill/Water Bill/Passport in the name of any of the parents or child.
3. Aadhaar Card issued in the name of both the parents and child.
4. Identity Card of the staff member (both sides) for staff ward admission.
Latest fee receipt (Oct 2024 – Dec 2024) showing the admission number of the sibling and identity card (both sides) for consideration in the sibling category.

6. Admission :

The admission shall be made without any discrimination of caste/religion/region etc. by the admission committee under the Chairmanship of the Principal and assisted by the In-charge Pre-School.

No interview or interaction shall be held with the candidates or parents.
