Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2025-26

Hi Alokita. .. did you attend the draw and if yes how was the whole process
I couldn't attend the session personally and now waiting for results to be announced online.

attended dps 45 nursery draw of lots. my daughter did not get through. one who gets selected would have to pay a token amt between thu-sat next week(8-10 sep) and rest in mar 17.

but i was disappointed with the process. dps sushant lok conducted the draw in more fair and transparent manner. the box from which the forms were being drawn out was not transparent and looking at the registration numbers which were selected most of them were from 600 to 1000 -very few from 100 to 400. they were not mixing it properly for drawing out - seemed to be biased draw.

i have waiting list in dps sl, no luck in dps 45 or suncity(even though i stay in sec-54), sriram - i heard the fee is quite exorbitant - so waiting only on dav -whcih does not seem possible - please suggest/comment

I am sure your kid will get through DPS SL.
My kid was in the first list but I didn't deposit the admission fees as I thought to wait for other school results. I am sure there are many like me.
It's strange to know of DPS sec45 draw. Haven't seen the results yet but my kid is not through otherwise would have received an email by now.
Is the final list available online ?

I was there during the draw, my daughter got thru it. But I second Mr Kaladhar's observation that neither did the box was transparent nor the forms were being shuffled properly.

Richa, Gaurav, I did not get any sms or mail from DPS for pre-nursery. I agree the box was not transparent, but there was a decent mix of numbers. Initial numbers were ranging from 300 to 600 or so, by my kid's number was much above 1000 and he got through.

Hi Richa and Gaurav, all the parents who were there and their kids got selected has been handed 2 paper -

1. Fees structure along with process details

2. Admission form (which needs to be signed by Rashmi Singh, Head of Sector 47 Primary branch)

But one thing I noted, there is ample seats available under Alumni and Staff quota, as applications were few only. Management Quota is over and above these categories too. If you really want DPS 45 for your ward, then I would suggest to follow up with Principal on regular basis and show interest.

Also, pls note she has mentioned that if selected students does not pay by 10th Sep, then draw will be held within school for remaining applications and parents will be informed on on one basis.
